Suddenly I was in a Car Accident
March 30th, 2006 | by Chris |Yesterday will be remembered by me as the day I was in a car accident.
Yup, there I was on the freeway at a dead stop, not too far from LA’s Chinatown, when I looked into my rear view mirror and saw the look of “oh S…” on the face of the driver behind me. He didn’t have time to stop and had nowhere to swerve.
He it me dead on into the back of my car. The impact pushed my car forward. It was so strong that my seat back broke.
I am unharmed for the most part, but it did shake me up. I have a bit of a sore back. The doctor said that it will get worse before it gets better. Great…
My car is in the shop and I have a sporty new Nissan Murano rental car.
Lesson learned: you never know when you are going to get wacked, so you better appreciate those around you and make your life worthwhile while you are here! Don’t take anything for granted and show your appreciation for what you have. It can be gone in a flash.
